Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Finance Transformation to lead the setup of a Shared Services Center for our client, a PE backed consultancy.


In this role, you will be instrumental in designing and implementing the structure, processes, and systems necessary to optimise the finance operations. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with organizational goals and objectives.


Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a Target Operating Model for establishing the Shared Services Center, including defining scope, objectives, and timelines.
  • Lead the design and implementation of standardised finance processes and procedures to drive efficiency and consistency across the organization.
  • Oversee the selection and implementation of finance systems and tools to support the operations of the Shared Services Center.
  • Build and manage a high-performing team to operate the Shared Services Center, including hiring, training, and performance management.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure smooth transition and adoption of the Shared Services model.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize finance operations and enhance service delivery.
  • Develop and monitor KPIs and metrics to measure the performance and effectiveness of the Shared Services Center.
  • Provide regular updates and reports to senior management on the progress and impact of the finance transformation initiative.


Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in shared services, business process optimisation, or management consulting.
  • Strong knowledge of shared services models and frameworks.
  • Proven experience in project management and change management methodologies.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software.
  • Certification in Lean, Six Sigma, or similar process improvement methodologies is a plus.
