Systems Engineer

Location- Bristol (Hybrid)

Salary- £45,000-£55,000 (depending on experience)

We are recruiting a systems engineer for one of the top global defence companies providing weapons systems for air, land, sea and space domains. This will provide the opportunity for a systems engineer to work on complex weapons programmes, contributing to the specification, assessment and delivery of products.

We’re looking for an exceptional Systems Engineer to not only lead the full lifecycle of complex systems, but also guide the technical strategy behind the products. You’ll be collaborating closely with specialized design teams to ensure everything is aligned, while ensuring delivery of the company’s commitments. Desired Capabilities:

• Proven experience across the full lifecycle

• Understanding of Electro-Optical systems

• Experience with model-based engineering methods

• Applying engineering processes to create products, especially in defence or aerospace is preferred

• Experience working in Agile teams is beneficial

• Knowledge of missile related technologies e.g. imaging and navigation
