SEN Teaching Assistant | Location: Wandsworth, SW15 | £94-£110 a day | Easy Transport Links | ASAP Start

A fantastic Primary School in Wandsworth, SW15 is on the hunt for a SEN Teaching Assistant This will be a full-time, and long-term role. You will specialise in supporting children with special educational needs on both a 1:1 & group basis across KS1 & KS2. The SENCO is eager to find a forward-thinking, and hardworking teaching assistant who is keen to go above and beyond for all.

Responsibilities:

1:1 and group support for children with Special Educational Needs,
Work across KS1 and KS2 to support the class teacher with lesson delivery,
Assist with daily classroom activities, help to design a creative and inclusive learning environment
Collaborate with school SENCO and class teacher to ensure the child's learning and developmental targets are being met,
Regularly monitor academic development,
Promote positive peer interactions.The ideal candidate will:

Have a level 3 TA qualification or equivalent,
Have a great understanding of a wide range of SEN needs, including autism,
Previous experience supporting children with SEN in an educational environment,
Ability to adapt to various, complex situations and be resilient,
Have an enhanced DBS certificateBenefits:
