Job Description
As the Business Improvement Manager you will be responsible for running the BI department within TGW NE, developing and executing multiple improvement projects across the business.
You will follow the principles of DMAIC / Lean 6 Sigma when supporting Business Improvement Initiatives and drive plans and programs as a strategic business partner with special focus on efficiency, financial profitability and process improvements.
WHAT YOU’LL BE HANDLING
* Develop and execute business strategies and improvement projects across all facets of the organisation
* Working together with cross-functional teams to deliver operational and commercial benefits to the business
* Manage, direct and prioritise the team’s activities in line with strategic direction of the Hub.
* Manage team performance, including annual PDI’s, regular one-to-one meetings and training and development programmes.
* Facilitate key monthly and annual meetings
* Ensure that strategic improvement programmes align to the Culture and Values of the business
* Bring new ideas to the Business Improvement Team
* Work on ad-hoc topics that arise out of business and technical challenges encountered within a leading / cutting edge Automation business
* Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) / Manage ‘RCA Events’
* Collect Data / Create Reports / Create KPI’s
* Identify areas for Business Improvement across the Business with a view to establishing ‘Improvement Initiatives’
* Create / Improve / Monitor Business Processes (Process Flows) using “Adonis”
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
* A proven track record in business ideally within a process-orientated, technical organisation, handling multi-national projects in the Engineering / IT / Technical sector
* Skilled in leading multi-disciplinary teams to deliver operational improvements
* Ideally degree qualified in any Engineering / IT / Technical subject
* Strong data analysis and presentation skills
* Track record in Project Management or Change Management
* A good problem solver with an analytical mindset
* Trained and knowledgeable in the use of Lean Six Sigma tools and processes.
* First class communication and presentational skills, with the ability to build strong relationships across an international group
