Job Description

Job Summary


Helps with designing creative marketing solutions for OEC’s Mechanical business segment. Maintains assets and content for Mechanical product lines, to include designing and producing digital/print materials to support new product launches, marketing campaigns, and other company initiatives. Develops world-class graphic design that resonates with consumers/customers and builds lasting brand equity across the brand portfolio.


Key Responsibilities


  • Executes the visual articulation (style and tone) of brand strategy, initiatives, objectives and goals for mechanical-related products through best-in-class design solutions.
  • Participates in brainstorming sessions with Marketing teams in order to generate creative ideas.
  • Presents creative concepts to internal teams, with thoughtful rationale.
  • Maintains knowledge of creative marketing trends and best practices.
  • Evaluates provided creative briefs or project instructions to ensure information is understood and actionable prior to executing design work.
  • Executes and applies brand style guide elements, including logo, product branding and typography, ensuring consistency and accuracy with brand positioning.
  • Collaborates with marketing peers to share best design practices across the organization.
  • Provides backup support in creating and editing videos for various uses.


Experience, Skills and Key Competencies


At least 3 months of graphic design experience with working knowledge of a variety of design methods and software applications such as HTML/CSS, Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, PowerPoint, and Dreamweaver.


Must also be able to demonstrate the following skills and abilities:

  • Good time management skills with the ability to work on multiple projects concurrently.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish collaborative and effective working relationships across stakeholders
  • Able to complete work assignments on-time and with high quality.
  • A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university is required, with a focus in graphic design or related discipline.
