Construction Manager
Leading Commercial Fitout Contractor
Central London
£50,000 - £70,000 and package
Our client is a well-established and reputable Main Contractor who specialises in delivering commercial fit out projects within the £1 million - £10 million range. Based in Central London, their projects are located all over the City of London and surrounds. They have a reputation at being the best in this highly competitive market.
They are currently seeking to appoint a Construction Manager who will report into a Project Manager on a £10 million commercial fit out project in the City of London.
The ideal candidate for this Construction Manager will have a trade background or HND or Degree level qualification or equivalent in a Construction related field. As well as extensive experience of delivering CAT A & B commercial fitout projects.
You will have a broad knowledge of all trades, and thorough experience of the construction process. The Construction Manager will also have to delegate and have experience of leading and motivating teams of sub-contractor.
You will also be able to demonstrate strong knowledge or experience within the following:
Demonstrate sound understanding of relevant H&S practices and regulations
Promote a safe working environment
Site Management experience including management of contractors and external partners
Ability to prepare site-specific risk assessments and method statements
Full understanding of the sub-contractor order to minimise sub-contractor variation instructions
Experience of engaging and consulting with contract surveyors, sub-contractors and relevant partners/stakeholder to work collaboratively to deliver the project
