Subsea Development Drilling and Completions Superintendent

The service holder will provide technical expertise to firm up the technical rig and drilling strategy for a 32 wells subsea development on Block 58 in Suriname. He will lead the technical part of the pertaining rig CFT and coordinate with other project packages (SPS, UFR) and service companies to ensure necessary rig preparation for operations. He will supervise a rig during operations.

Prior to rig arrival:

1. Lead rig related studies prior to and during rig CFT.
2. Prepare and lead the rig inspection and modification prior to rig intake period.
3. Perform comprehensive rig intake review and implement all lessons learnt from E&A campaign. Include contingency philosophy in well design.
4. Ensure that TotalEnergies drilling referential is respected throughout the rig preparation. Highlight all gaps with referential and prepare mitigation measures.
5. Ensure that operations planning and programs are in line with the bridging document and good oilfield practices.
6. Identify and analyze operational risks, put in place mitigation measures.
7. Review and sign off on all operational programs and sequences.
8. Support Technological Risk Assessment preparation for development wells.

Contractual:

1. In collaboration with TGP, prepare technical appendixes for rig services tender.
2. Lead the CFT technical evaluation (including rig visit when necessary), analyze & clarify bids, prepare RTAs.

Project delivery:

1. Ensure close collaboration with SPS and SURF packages to synchronize the drilling sequence with installation sequence. Prevent COMOPS clashes.

During drilling and completion operations:

HSE:

1. Ensure permanent focus on Major Risks: loss of well integrity, well collisions, loss of position.
2. Be a HSE leader and ensure full application of TotalEnergies HSEQ MAESTRO, 12 golden rules, company rules, policies & procedures in the rig operations.
3. Ensure follow up and regular distribution of the Rig Actions List.
4. Ensure follow up and closing of Synergi cases & actions.

Operations follow-up:

1. Control and participate to the safe and efficient implementation of the drilling and completion programs.
2. Guarantee operational execution in accordance with TotalEnergies referential.
3. Analyse anomalies and incidents with senior drilling supervisor to anticipate and solve problems.
4. Assist Drilling Supervisor during operational problems.
5. Plan and order intervention of all contractors.
6. Plan all activities and requirements in liaison with the logistic services for timely delivery.

Personnel environment:

1. Build strong team spirit among rig crew.
2. Ensure up to date training status of rig supervisors.
3. Foster development of technical skills.

Performance drive:

1. Control rig reporting accuracy. Validate reports before distribution.
2. Supervise weekly operations meeting preparation from rig crew.
3. Highlight and implement drilling and completion performance opportunities.
