Requirements Colonoscopies, EGDs
ERCP and EUS is a stretch goal
It is both inpatient and outpatient coverage. The person will be working for PSH but will provide inpatient coverage at Mount Nittany Medical Center, which is the community health system in State College, PA.
Non licensed is fine.
The procedures performed are EGDs and Colonoscopies, ERCPs and EUSs are the stretch
Anesthesia is present
Please note the site will need the providers to be presented at a daily flat rate
Physician works three full weeks consecutively, inpatient and outpatient, starting on a Friday at 5pm.
Covers all State College GI call 5pm on Friday- 7am on Monday both weekends and then daily 5pm-7am, average of 4 calls per day
Covers PSH call 24x7 which includes our patients who go to Mount Nittany for care (consults average 4 per 24hrs)
9-10 sessions in PSH Endoscopy over the two weeks, 12-13 procedures a day, EGDs and Colonoscopies
Hospital (Mount Nittany) scheduled procedure patients on Tue, Weds and Friday; volume: 5-6 (inpatient and scopes that can’t be done outpatient)
There is hospital rounding, PSH patients during the weekdays (average 20 mins) all GI patients on weekends (average 3 hours), which averages 4-8 patients
Clinic sessions: 8/month average, 5-9 patients per session
Other: APP supervision and capsule studies
EMRs are Cerner and Meditech
