weekends nights – All shifts are 6a-6p 6p-6a with
single doc coverage at the sites listed above.

do they get called back on-site? No call

Will they take an APP or SFA when applicable? Do not need APPs currently

What are expectations for orientation? ie
shadow day? EMR training? Onboarding is 2 Hr
process to educate on Meditech and local quality measures. Also there will be one
shadow shift at each main site and 1 shadow shift at any FSED they all
function the same

Are case logs needed? If so what are the
requirements? Yes case logs will need to be
provided.
Hospital/unit

Number of beds? 18 – Doctors Regional

How many daily admissions? 10 admissions at FSEDs and 20 at doctors

Are there any consults and if so how many per
day? Yes multiple
· What’s
the patient population? Rockport – Elderly winter
Texans Northwest – nursing home elderly rural Portland – mixed more younger
patients

Trauma center? Types of cases? Acuity? Northwest and Doctors are Level IV trauma centers Portland
FSED and Rockport FSED are not. All sites see high acuity. Physicians must be
efficient in central line placement intubation dislocation reductions
trauma stemi strokes OB deliveries.

What does the support staff look like?

How will follow up cases be handled? when
applicable- inpatient or outpatient
o Generally no follow up needed on cases however feedback is
provided as needed.
