Job Opportunity: Aluminum Fabricator
Location: Kettering
Type: Temp-to-Perm
Hourly Rate: £11.44 - £12.50 (based on experience)
BCS Connect is looking for an Aluminum Fabricator to join our team in Kettering. This is a temp-to-perm position with a pay rate of £11.44 to £12.50 per hour, dependent on experience. We are seeking a motivated individual comfortable working with hand and power tools to fabricate high-quality aluminum components.
Key Responsibilities
Measuring and Cutting: Accurately measure and cut aluminum components to specifications using power tools, including miter saws.
Assembly of Frames: Join aluminum profiles through welding, riveting, or other fastening methods to build sturdy door and window frames.
Fitting Hardware: Install necessary hardware such as hinges, handles, and locks on aluminum frames.
Installing Glazing: Secure glass panes into frames, ensuring correct sealing and weatherproofing.
Blueprint Interpretation: Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications to achieve precise installations.
Quality Control: Inspect finished installations for accuracy, alignment, and functionality.
Requirements ✅
Experience: Prior experience in window fabrication is preferred but not required.
Skills: Confident using hand and power tools, with attention to detail and accuracy in measuring and assembly.
