Location: High Wycombe
Salary: £35,250 rising to £36,750 (after CQC registration)
Job Type: Full-time
Hours: Monday to Friday (days 8am-4pm/9am-5pm flexible), on-call is 1 week in 5 on average
Job Description:
We have an exciting new vacancy within our clients' growing organisation! We are currently looking for a Supported Living Manager to manage 1 supported living service and 1 single person service which provides support to adults with learning disabilities and mental health needs. If you have experience of being a Registered Manager within a Supported Living setting, knowledge of the Care Quality Commission (CQC) regulations, and working with people with a learning disability and mental health needs - we would love to hear from you!
Responsibilities:
- Register with the CQC as Registered Manager
- Direct management of a 13-bed service and 1 single person service.
- Oversight of the regulated activity across the organisation’s supported living services, comprising 4 services ranging from 13 – 5 beds and 2 single person services.
- Manage 2 staff teams across these services, providing support and regular supervisions.
- Ensure that the services are run in accordance with company vision and values.
- Liaise with the managers of the services you do not directly manage.
Essential Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience as a CQC registered manager.
- Experience managing supported living services is essential.
- Ability to manage multi-site services.
- Knowledge of CQC regulations.
- Experience working with adults with learning disabilities and mental health needs.
