Do you have the skills needed to lead a significant portfolio of pensions data cleanse projects?
We are looking for a driven individual to join our Data Solutions Team, within Aon's UK Retirement business. This team brings together specialists from across our business to deliver project work for clients.
This is a hybrid role with the flexibility to work both virtually and from any of our UK Retirement offices.

What the day will look like
We will consider how best to share responsibilities between the Planning Lead, Programme Manager and Operations Director based on the experience of the successful candidate, but these may include:
- Lead capacity planning across a team of nearly 100 individuals for hundreds of projects.
- Work with, and provide operational oversight of, others involved in work planning - including a programme manager, PMO and project managers.
- Liaise with stakeholders, including clients and senior individuals across Aon, to manage expectations, deliver difficult messages, resolve challenges, build knowledge and manage inter-team dependencies.
- Identify and resolve project risks and systematic risks, and contribute to process improvement activities.
- Oversee the monitoring of project financials and take actions to manage costs or budgets where needed.
- Deliver management information on the portfolio (such as RAG status and pipeline data).
- Work with others in the Data Solutions Team management group to provide leadership and help meet our business objectives.

Skills and experience that will lead to success
- Be proactive and self-motivated, with a desire to own and deliver the best solutions for Aon
- Be willing to learn about complex and inter-dependent processes, improve processes and adapt to change
- Be collaborative and supportive, working well in a team
- Have experience of data cleanse and administration change projects, such as GMP rectification, GMP equalisation and buy-in to buy-out data work
- Be able to make challenging decisions and deliver difficult messages
- Ability to identify project risks/issues, and work with multiple stakeholders to mitigate
