Salary: £30,000

Hours: Monday – Friday 9pm – 5pm

Are you a passionate and creative Baker? My client is looking for someone just like you to join their innovative kitchen team. If you have a love for baking, enjoy experimenting with new cake concepts, and thrive in a hands-on environment creating delicious samples, this role could be your perfect fit.

Key Responsibilities:

• Participate in concept development and brainstorming new cake ideas.
• Bake cakes on a small scale, creating samples for customer approval.
• Develop and refine recipes during the baking process, ensuring accurate measurements of ingredients like colours and flavours.
• Manage stock levels, ensuring proper rotation and maintaining fresh ingredients.
• Ensure the kitchen is clean, hygienic, and organised, following food safety standards.
• Collaborate with customers to refine cake samples and finalise concepts based on feedback.
• Take professional photos of cake samples for presentations.
• Work closely with the NPD Technologist, providing support and feedback.

Requirements:

• Passion for baking and cake decorating, with hands-on experience (home baking or small-scale projects).
• Creative mindset with the ability to develop new ideas for cakes.
• Experience in cake decoration.
• Strong attention to detail, particularly in recipe development and presentation.
• No formal qualifications required—just a love for baking and innovation!
