Occupational Health Advisor

As an Occupational Health Advisor, you will work closely with the occupational health team to provide high-quality healthcare services to our clients. You must provide accurate written, electronic and verbal reports, observing confidentiality always. The role may involve sickness absence medicals, pre-employment checks, health surveillance, D&A screening and may include site visits.

Duties will include but are not limited to:

Duties and Responsibilities

·Providing basic first aid and healthcare screening, to preventing healthcare problems at work through risk assessment, education and training and other initiatives.

· Managing sickness absence.

· Pre-assignment, fit to return to work and case management assessments.

· Managing and undertaking a Health Surveillance programme for the workforce.

· Drug and Alcohol testing.

· Review and / or develop client specific sickness and health policies.

· Maintaining records & diaries (electronic).

· Providing regular activity and performance reports

What were looking for

· Qualified Occupational Health Nurse.

· Min 3 years postgrad experience.

· Experienced and comfortable working on own, looking after the OH needs of an entire workforce
