The company:You will be joining a market leading, worldwide company providing manufacturing solutions for a wide range of industries, such as food, shipping, retail and more.Due to continued expansion and an influx of work, the team are looking for a Health & Safety assistant to work under the Health & Safety manager at their site in Peterborough.
This is a great opportunity for someone from a manufacturing background with a keen eye for Health & Safety to start their focused Health & Safety career!

Job responsibilities:Manage the day-day health and safety processes within the manufacturing shop floorDeliver safe methods of working throughout the plant Work to quality processes (ISO 9001)Deliver health and safety talks and workshops to workersPrepare for Internal and External audits. (Initially supervised)This is just a summed-up list, and other responsibilities and tasks will be required.
Skills and Experience required:Previous experience and knowledge of ISO 9001 is desirableIdeally, some health and safety experienceExperience working within a manufacturing/production environment would be beneficial.Confidence and motivation to progress within your health and safety career.
