Production Rail Operative - Quarry Environment (Coalville LE67)
Location: Coalville, LE67
Pay Rate: From £14.50 per hour
Hours: 8-hour shifts, rotating between mornings, afternoons, and nights
Contract Type: Temp to Perm (Minimum 6 months)
*** MUST have a SPA Quarry Passport ***
About the Role:
We are currently seeking a Production Rail Operative to join our team working in a quarry environment in the Coalville area. In this role, you will:
* Safely operate rail mobile and static plant, including rail load out and rail weighbridges
* Perform general site clearance of plant spillages and maintain cleanliness
* Carry out small maintenance tasks as needed
* Visually inspect the rail and report any issues to the Quarry Manager
* Be flexible to cover other roles on-site as required
Requirements:

* It is advantageous if you hold a Wheel Loading Shovel licence, though not essential
* Ability to work rotating shifts
