SCOPE

We are hiring a new talent as Packaging Procurement Manager for several BUs in France, responsible for a spend of €200 million.

You will manage 3 packaging buyers and 1 purchasing assistante.

Directly reporting to the France Purchasing Director, this is a challenging, highly dynamic and visible role that will see you leading key strategic projects to optimize the quality, service, costs, innovation and cash performance of your perimeter. You will also be part of the Lactalis sustainable roadmap.

Your MISSION & CHALLENGES :

As a Packaging Procurement Manager you and your team will :

• Be at the heart of the strategic decisions on the packaging for which you are responsible, with the support of multi-business working groups
• Ensure compliance with CSR objectives by co-managing packaging development projects in close collaboration with the packaging R&D department, the Marketing teams and the Division’s factories.
• Deploy and implement the purchasing strategy of your portfolios
• Detect and animate your value analysis projects and recommendations
• Be the preferred contact for different BUs for the management of their packaging purchases
• Define, manage and optimize the supplier portfolio and their performance
• Participate in the creation and monitoring of the portfolio budget
• Analyze supply risks to define and deploy major priorities for packaging security

This position requires frequent travels in France and abroad (up to 20% of the time).

WHAT IS ESSENTIAL FOR US ?

• 7 years experience minimum procurement (especially in packaging)
• Excellent communicator with leadership - Strategic vision.
• Natural connector - able to build a network to support business goals
• Able to set priorities, to take some distance, and be pragmatic
• Tenacity, with strong adaptation and relationship capabilities to gain credibility and create an efficient network within BUs and suppliers
• Professional sourcing experience or / and education background that provides relevant knowledge within purchasing area
• Able to align strategy and stakeholders around identified and new business opportunities
• Positive, humility, adaptation and openess to feedback
• Fluent in french
