Quality Analyst - Manual Testing

About the role : We are looking for a proactive and meticulous manual QA Analyst to join our agile team. If you have 1-2 years of manual testing experience, enjoy wearing multiple hats, and are excited about working in a dynamic startup environment, we want to hear from you Automation experience is a plus. What you'll do : - Execute comprehensive test cases to ensure the quality and functionality of our software products - Identify, document, and track software defects using bug-tracking tools - Collaborate closely with developers and product managers to understand requirements and develop effective testing strategies - Conduct thorough regression testing to ensure resolved bugs do not reoccur - Participate in daily stand-ups and sprint planning sessions as part of our Agile process - Continuously learn and apply new QA methodologies and tools to improve testing efficiency What we are looking for : - 1-2 years of experience in manual software testing - Solid understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes - Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail - Ability to write clear and concise test plans, test cases, and bug reports - Experience with bug-tracking tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar - Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset - Basic knowledge of automation testing tools and practices - Familiarity with tools like Selenium or QTP is a plus - Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment What's in it for you : - Contribute to building the Middle East's most beloved fintech brand from the ground up - Benefit from a role with significant ownership and accountability - Thrive in a flexible hybrid culture with ample work-life balance - Participate in exciting offsite events - Competitive salary and equity - Enjoy additional perks like travel allowances, gym memberships, and more (ref:hirist.tech)
