Automation Engineer

For the position as Automation Engineer: You are responsible for the electrical design and programming of the PLC machine controls where you will make the planning and installation schedules related to the automation of the machines You do the functional electrical final inspection before dispatching the machines to be installed You assist with the upgrades and service interventions of the machines at the customers' sites In collaboration with the suppliers and the procurement department, you specify the needed electrical components You travel internationally (to 30%) You have a master's degree in Electromechanics or a related field with a focus on automation/electrical systems You have a strong technical comprehension and excellent knowledge of PLC machinery control and programming with Siemens (Tiaportal, Step7) and Rockwell You can work with EPLAN You can visualize the process (SCADA/HMI) You design electrical control cabinets You know how to prioritize tasks You can work independently without compromising team spirit You possess a proactive personality with a sense of initiative and a customer-oriented/commercial mindset You have a good proficiency in Dutch and English (both written and spoken) The company offers the following value package: A full-time job Competitive compensation Extra-legal benefits Bike lease The company is a preeminent worldwide supplier of solutions for the application of thin film coatings.
