About the role:

As a Reinsurance Technician, you will be ensuring the smooth operation of reinsurance tasks, enabling brokers to focus on building strong client relationships and achieving their strategic goals.

What you will be doing:

-You will collaborate with senior team members to set and prioritise objectives, managing workloads to meet both personal and team goals.

-You will work towards targets and deadlines.

-You will lead assigned projects and contribute to team projects as required.

-You will provide accurate and timely reports and management information to the Team Leader.

-You will assist in preparing detailed client and broking documentation, ensuring precision and compliance.

-You will process slips, quotes, endorsements, and other documents efficiently with a high standard of accuracy.

-You will perform technical duties, including data entry, credit control, and follow-up on subjectivities.

-You will stay updated on regulatory and legal changes affecting the role and ensure compliance.

-You will maintain accurate records in the company's systems and respond promptly to urgent issues.

-You will handle client renewals, mid-term adjustments, and other inquiries with professionalism and high-quality service.

What we are looking for:

-Experience in the Insurance industry

-Experience in Reinsurance

-Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

-Experience producing accurate and well-documented work.
