Then get in touch! Kingston Barnes is seeking a highly skilled Engineering Manager for our client in the Bristol area. In this senior leadership role, you will oversee the development, implementation, and maintenance of our engineering systems, ensuring product and systems conformance.
The Role:
You will lead the engineering department and will be responsible for developing, implementing and maintaining the engineering systems. You will directly manage and lead the engineering team to and you will be a key member of the leadership team and contribute to the company's development. Responsibilities include but aren’t limited:
* Lead the engineering team in developing and introducing new products on time and to project parameters.
* Liaise with customers on engineering issues and product non-conformances.
* Develop a technology roadmap to support new business development.
* Manage the introduction of products to the shop floor and ensure systems produce parts to exact standards.
* Contribute to the company's strategic growth as part of the Senior Leadership Team.
About you:
* Proven experience managing engineering teams.
* Strong understanding of quality system models (ISO9001, AS9100)
* Relevant professional qualification in Engineering (Mechanical, Aerospace)
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to work closely with customers and internal teams.
* Leadership in a dynamic and fast-paced environment with a proactive and ethical approach.
* Familiar with CNC systems
* Knowledge of CAD/CAM
* Experience managing New Product Introduction (NPI) and improving production processes.

* £60,000 - £70,000
* 25 days A/L + BH
