Contentious Trusts & Estates Litigation lawyers NQ – 1 & 2 years’ PQE LONDON

Directories-listed Private Client department in London is looking to recruit two Contentious Trusts & Estates Litigation lawyers – one of 0 to 1 and the other of 2 or more years’ PQE. The team predominantly advises high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth clients entrepreneurs and business owners (and their families), as well as trustees from around the globe on some of the most complex and high value private wealth disputes, both domestically and internationally. The team also advises numerous high-profile domestic dynastic families for which they are trusted advisers and has a strong expertise handling disputes involving cross border taxation issues. Specific matters the successful candidates can expect to assist with include: • Litigation relating to wills and inheritance disputes, including all manner of probate disputes relating to the validity of a will and the administration of an estate and challenge to lifetime disposals (both domestic and international estates) • Litigation relating to trusts including all manner of disputes relating to the formation and administration of a trust and to include any disputes relating to the exercise or non-exercise of powers by the powerholders (domestic and international) • Variation of trust applications Beddoes and Blessing applications (domestic and international) • Mediation to resolve disputes • Risk management in trust administration • Cross-border estate planning conflicts.

If you are already qualified, previous Contentious Trust and Estate experience would be required or, for the NQ position, ideally you will have undertaken a seat in either non-contentious Private Client or contentious Trust and Estates Litigation. The role includes hybrid working with the opportunity to work remotely 2 days per week.
