Directories-listed Charities department in London is looking to recruit a Charities Property lawyer of 0 to 2 years’ PQE to undertake Property matters in the Charities sector. The teams’ clients include some of the most prominent fundraising charities as well as medium-sized and start-up charities, individual philanthropists and corporate foundations. The work will be varied and would suit someone with commercial property experience who is enthusiastic about developing new areas of expertise and working within the charity sector. The successful candidate will work on a wide range of commercial property matters for charity and social business clients. This is an opportunity to take on a broad and varied role which will include freehold and leasehold disposals and acquisitions; portfolio management work; support of corporate transactions such as mergers and incorporations; and, advise on technical charity property issues. Specific experience advising charities is not a prerequisite, but a real interest in the charity sector and a willingness to learn and engage in business development is essential.
