Senior Construction Manager

I am currently looking to speak with an experienced Senior Construction Manager for our client based in Teeside.

Position will be based remote first 12 months then will be frequent visit to site for the project

Salary £110,000 - £125,000 + Bonus + Pension + Hybrid

Candidate Industry Background: Construction / Mining / Nuclear / Rail / Refinery / Chemical

Company Background

The client is a leading engineering and technology company for the energy industry and chemicals sector who are involved in new energy projects as hydrogen.

• Key ResponsibilitiesMust have experience working with trade unions / industrial relationship
• Advise the Project Director to ensure all activities adhere to UK standards, regulations, and industrial relations requirements.
• Oversee and manage the implementation of the construction quality management system throughout the construction phase.
• Ensure that all construction activities are executed, coordinated, and aligned with project strategies and plans, while achieving scheduled targets.
• Establish and monitor a robust Sustainability Program, ensuring compliance and its subcontractors, incorporating standards like BREEAM, Green Steel, and the use of Green Energies during construction.
• Facilitate effective coordination and cooperation between contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure safety and environmental protection throughout the project.
• Minimum RequirementsExperience on major projects in petrochemical, chemical, refinery or gas plants within the energy industries.
• Degree in a relevant engineering or construction subject.
