Mechanical Estimator

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed mechanical estimates for building services projects, ensuring accuracy and compliance with tender specifications.
• Analyze drawings, specifications, and other project documentation to create comprehensive costings.
• Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing.
• Collaborate with the design and project management teams to ensure estimates meet the project scope and requirements.
• Identify and evaluate potential risks and opportunities within the tender process.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market trends, materials, and labour costs.
• Assist in negotiating contracts and preparing final submissions.

About You:

• Proven experience as a Mechanical Estimator within the building services or facilities management industry.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical services such as HVAC, plumbing, and general building services systems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Excellent numerical and analytical skills, with high attention to detail.
• Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
• Proficient in estimation software and Microsoft Office.
