Job Description
Fawkes and Reece are currently recruiting for a Senior Quantity Surveyor in NW London on behalf of one of our RC frame & groundworks clients.
Established over 45 years ago, my client is an award-winning contractor with a turnover of over £150 million annually. As well as their awards for the quality of work, my client has received multiple awards for being in the 'Top 100 places to work' and heavily invest into their learning and development programme for their employees.
As such, my client is looking to recruit for a Senior Quantity Surveyor role in the London, working on projects of up £25 million on groundworks and basements. This project will provide a fantastic experience and exposure to large scale groundworks/basement operations.
The successful candidates will be able to:
- Prepare their own bill of quantities.
- Build an estimate from first principles breaking down Labour, Plant, Materials.
- Carry out their own take offs.
- Liaise with operational and engineering staff to ensure site records are kept to the standard required.
- Produce, submit, and agree monthly application with the client, in line with the form of contract.
- Work collaboratively with the bid and estimating team in relation to any contractual queries.
