Job Title: Senior Software Engineer (.NET)
Location: Manchester/100% Remote
Salary: up to £80,000 per annum
Job Type: Permanent
The Role
Our client is currently looking for a Senior Software Engineer, specialising in .NET and has worked with development teams throughout the full development lifecycle. The successful candidate should be either based in Manchester, or 100% remotely; and will be happy to travel to Hull and Customer sites when needed.
Duties and responsibilities:
To continuously improve your skills by keeping up to date with the latest technologies, especially the .NET framework.
An understanding of TDD, BDD and other software engineering practices to deliver high quality code.
An ability to mentor, as well as having the ability to coach more junior developers within the team.
An ability to liaise with team members outside of development, to refine complex requirements.
Some experience of Android, iOS, web and server-side development and Desktop development.
The clients tech stack is:
PHP (Laravel), .NET (all frameworks), React.js/Angular.js/Vue.js, MSSQL, Azure Cloud and MySQL.
The Candidate
Familiar with the Agile philosophy.
The ability to prioritise workloads, as well as managing to deliver high quality code.
Willingly take ownership and responsibility
