Financial Controller

An Education brand renowned for delivering leading Education services is currently looking for a Financial Controller (ACA qualified) to join their team in central London. This is a key role in leading a small team and managing the accounting and tax processes for a key region. The company boasts an excellent reputation and high performing culture geared towards driving the business further internationally.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Leading and developing a small team across the day-to-day accounting including financial and management reporting
• Managing the monthly payroll and maintaining the fixed asset register and Intercompany transactions
• Ensuring accounting records are in accordance with IFRS, coordinating the management of cash flow and preparing/filing tax returns (direct and indirect)
• Partnering with a variety of stakeholders and providing key information to support monthly reporting and budgets/forecasts
• Supporting with the implementation of the new accounting system including training and developing team members

The ideal candidate will be ACA (equivalent) qualified with relevant post qualified experience within an international group. Prior exposure within a fast-paced and demanding environment will be highly advantageous. You will have proven experience in dealing with large sets of data and a keen eye for detail. The Financial Controller will be required to develop relationships with a variety of stakeholders and possess a confident nature to develop a small team.
