DevOps Engineer - AWS Infrastructure

Job Type : On site Job Location : Delhi Employment Type : Permanent Experience required : 5 to 10 years. Compensation : Best fit as per industry standard Responsibilities : - Design, deploy, and maintain AWS infrastructure using Terraform for provisioning and configuration management. - Implement and manage EC2 instances, including lifecycle management, scaling, and optimization. - Configure and manage application load balancers and ensure efficient traffic distribution. - Deploy and configure AWS WAF (Web Application Firewall) to protect web applications against common security threats. - Collaborate with development and operations teams to integrate security practices and tools throughout the software development lifecycle. - Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate testing and deployment processes. - Monitor system performance and implement security best practices to ensure high availability and reliability. - Conduct security assessments and participate in incident response and resolution activities. Requirements : - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience). - Proven experience working with AWS services and infrastructure, including EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, and Lambda. - Strong proficiency in infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform for automating provisioning and configuration. - Hands-on experience with deploying and managing application load balancers (ELB/ALB/NLB). - Experience implementing and managing AWS WAF or similar web application firewall technologies. - Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and orchestration platforms (EKS, ECS). - Solid understanding of networking concepts, security protocols, and best practices. - Experience with scripting languages (Python, Bash) for automation and monitoring tasks. - Proven ability to troubleshoot complex issues and drive problem resolution. - Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross functional teams. Preferred Qualifications : - AWS certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect/AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, or AWS Certified Security Specialty. - Experience with infrastructure monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack). - Knowledge of compliance frameworks (PCI-DSS, HIPAA, GDPR) and their implementation in AWS environments.
