BI Engineer - Tableau/Power BI

As a BI Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and implementing business intelligence solutions to drive data-driven decision-making across the organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in data analytics, reporting, and BI tools, with a focus on transforming data into actionable insights. Key Responsibilities : - Design, develop, and maintain BI solutions, including data models, dashboards, and reports. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather business requirements and translate them into technical specifications. - Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various sources to build comprehensive data warehouses. - Develop complex SQL queries and optimize existing queries for performance improvement. - Create interactive and visually appealing dashboards using tools like Power BI, Tableau, or equivalent. - Perform data validation and ensure data accuracy and integrity in BI systems. - Continuously monitor and improve the performance of BI applications and infrastructure. - Provide support to end-users for BI tool usage, reporting, and analytics. - Stay updated with the latest BI technologies, tools, and best practices. Key Skills : - Proficiency in BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or equivalent. - Strong SQL skills and experience in querying large datasets. - Knowledge of ETL processes and data warehousing concepts. - Hands-on experience with data visualization and reporting. - Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - Ability to work with cross-functional teams and communicate effectively. Preferred Qualifications : - Experience in cloud-based BI solutions is a plus (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud). - Familiarity with Python or other scripting languages is an advantage.
