Job Title : Firewall Developer. Location : Noida, Sector 63. Experience : 3. Job Type : Full-Time. Qualification : B.E/ B.Tech or MCA. Job Description : As a Firewall Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining advanced firewall systems and network security features. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including network security engineers, product managers, and quality assurance, to ensure the security and efficiency of our firewall products. Your role will require expertise in both firewall technologies and network protocols, as well as the ability to write high-quality, scalable code to meet the evolving needs of our customers. Preferred Skills : - Firewall Development : Design, implement, and maintain robust, high-performance firewall systems and network security features. - Ensure security policies, rulesets, and configurations are efficiently managed and optimized. - Security Protocols : Work with a variety of security protocols, including IPsec, SSL/TLS, VPN, IPSec, DNSSEC, and others to build and improve firewall functionality. - Code Optimization : Continuously improve the performance of firewall rulesets and ensure minimal impact on network latency. - Optimize firewall software for scalability, speed, and memory usage. - Vulnerability Assessment : Proactively identify and mitigate security risks and vulnerabilities in the firewall system. - Stay up to date on the latest threats and security trends, and incorporate them into firewall design and updates. - Testing & Debugging : Perform rigorous unit testing, integration testing, and troubleshooting of firewall systems. - Collaborate with QA teams to ensure firewall solutions meet required security and performance standards. - Collaboration & Documentation : Work closely with other developers, network engineers, and product managers to define requirements, create design specifications, and deliver product features. - Maintain clear documentation on system architecture, security models, and best practices. - Customer Support : Provide technical support and troubleshooting for customers using the firewall products. - Assist with complex customer deployments and security incidents when necessary. Required Qualifications : - Qualification Requird B.E/B.Tech or MCA along with relevant Infrastructure or Database certifications. - Strong experience in firewall development (i.e., iptables, pf, nf tables, or similar). - Proficiency in networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/S, etc.) - Advanced knowledge of network security technologies such as VPN, IDS/IPS, load balancing, and SSL/TLS encryption. - Expertise in firewall rule design, policy management, and traffic inspection techniques. - Strong coding skills in languages like C, C++, Python, or Go (experience in high-performance, low-latency applications is a plus). - Experience with Linux/Unix-based systems and networking stacks. - Familiarity with cloud security platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and cloud-native firewall services. - Familiarity with network traffic analysis, debugging tools (Wireshark, tcpdump), and logging frameworks. Preferred Qualifications : - Certifications such as CCSP, CISSP, CompTIA Security, or other relevant security certifications. - Experience with firewall-as-a-service (FWaaS) or next-generation firewall (NGFW) platforms. - Knowledge of SDN (Software Defined Networking) and NFV (Network Function Virtualization). - Experience working with network performance optimization and high-throughput systems. - Familiarity with threat intelligence platforms, SIEM tools, and incident response protocols.
