Responsibilities
The Clinical Systems Analyst is an individual contributor playing a crucial role in supporting our specialty practice technology systems; primarily focused on Athena Health and integrated solutions. As the Clinical Systems Analyst, you will monitor and manage incoming ServiceNow tickets, working closely with practice end-users, IT, and external vendors to ensure timely, efficient, and effective end-user support. The Clinical Systems Analyst will participate in new system integration planning and provide insights into support needs for scalable end-user support services.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the support, maintenance, and troubleshooting of EHR, Practice Management, Revenue Cycle, and integrated solutions, specifically Athena Health clinical applications.
- Participate in the configuration and customization of clinical applications to meet the needs of SCA’s specialty practices.
- Work with end-users to identify, document, and resolve issues related to clinical applications.
- Assist in the development and execution of test plans, quality assurance, and user acceptance testing for system updates and new system implementations.
- Support data integrity initiatives by assisting with data extraction, reporting, and analysis.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with IT, clinical staff, and vendors to ensure seamless system operations.
- Develop training materials and provide end-user training and support, as needed.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in healthcare technology and clinical applications.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in a systems administrator or analyst capacity using Athena Health applications in a provider practice environment, required.
- Comfortable communicating directly with physicians, practice operations, revenue cycle, and external vendors, required.
- Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a changing and fast-paced environment.
- Experience using ServiceNow, ZenDesk, Jira, or equivalent ticketing systems, preferred.
- Experience working with specialty practices a plus.
