Quality Assurance Lead - Automation/Manual Testing

Job Description : We are looking for a highly skilled Full Stack QA Lead to join our team in Whitefield, Bangalore. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in both manual and automated testing across various applications. This role involves leading the QA team, developing testing strategies, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality software products. Mandatory Skills : - Testing Frameworks: Proficiency in using testing frameworks such as Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, or similar tools for automated testing. - Programming Languages: Strong knowledge of programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript for developing automated test scripts. - API Testing: Experience in testing RESTful and SOAP web services using tools like Postman or SoapUI. - Performance Testing: Familiarity with performance testing tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner, or similar. - CI/CD Pipelines: Experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI) for integrating automated tests into the development pipeline. - Database Testing: Proficient in writing SQL queries for database testing and validation. - Test Management Tools: Experience with test management tools such as JIRA, ALM, or similar for test case management and defect tracking. - Agile Methodologies: Solid understanding of Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile development environments. - Leadership Skills: Strong leadership abilities to mentor and guide junior QA team members and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Key Responsibilities : - Test Strategy Development: Design and implement comprehensive test strategies, ensuring all aspects of the application are covered. - Team Leadership: Lead and mentor the QA team, fostering a collaborative and quality-focused environment. - Test Automation: Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts to enhance testing efficiency and coverage. - Defect Management: Identify, document, and track defects, ensuring timely resolution and effective communication with development teams. - Collaboration: Work closely with developers, product owners, and other stakeholders to ensure quality requirements are met throughout the development lifecycle. - Reporting: Generate and present test reports, metrics, and insights to stakeholders, highlighting quality status and areas for improvement.
