Data Engineer - Python/ETL

Salary : 19-30lpa We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer with 3 to 9 years of experience to join our team in Chennai. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining data pipelines and data architecture to support data analytics and business intelligence initiatives. This role requires a strong understanding of data processing frameworks and database technologies. Key Responsibilities : - Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines to extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various sources. - Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and stakeholders to understand data requirements and provide data solutions. - Implement data models and optimize database systems to ensure high performance and reliability. - Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines to ensure data quality and availability. - Utilize big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, or cloud-based solutions to manage large datasets. - Document data engineering processes and workflows for future reference and compliance. - Stay updated with industry trends and technologies to continuously improve data engineering practices. Qualifications : - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (B.E/B.Tech/MCA). - 3 to 9 years of experience in data engineering or related roles. - Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with database management systems (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, or NoSQL databases). - Familiarity with ETL tools (e.g., Apache NiFi, Talend, Informatica) and data processing frameworks (e.g., Apache Spark, Hadoop). - Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and their data services. - Experience with programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala for data processing.
