In Flight Inc. is a nonprofit company that provides support services within a home environment and the community for people with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD). In Flight’s Community Hab department is looking for creative and self-motivated staff to work 1:1 with children and/or adults with developmental disabilities both at home and within the community. You must be able to relate positively to people with developmental disabilities and want to support their goals for a fulfilling life. This is a flexible, fun, and independent position!

What you will be doing:

• Teaching new tasks
• Assisting in the creation and achievement of life goals
• Planning activities within the home and/or community
• Working independently while collaborating with other team members
• Accurately and promptly documenting services, using provided tablet.

*Per Diem evenings, and weekends. Cases in Wallkill and Ellenville.

$18.50 an hour- PAY INCENTIVES Available

• Quarterly bonus- must average 20 hours per week per quarter to qualify for it.

EXPERIENCE:

• Working with Individuals that have IDD preferred but not required.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Pass all NYS and OPWDD background clearances.
• Attending a full multi-day orientation in Red Hook
• USE OF YOUR OWN VEHICLE -Mileage reimbursement available for any transportation of the person(s) supported.
