Gordon Feinblatt LLC is seeking an attorney to join our industry-leading Energy and Environmental Practice Group, focusing on regulatory matters before the Maryland Department of the Environment and Maryland Public Service Commission.

Requirements:The ideal candidate would have:
· Climate change knowledge and experience, including with Maryland's Climate Solutions Now Act and Building Energy Performance Standards;
· Energy law experience including practice before FERC or state-level utility commissions;
· Project permitting experience, preferably with renewable energy projects including solar;
We know that this is a tall list and are ready to work with someone who meets some but not all criteria. In addition to these issues, our group regularly advises clients regarding brownfields, natural resources, Clean Air Act and Clean Water act, and candidates can expect some exposure in these areas over time.
Candidates must also:
· Have significant first chair experience, typically 8+ years' experience;
· Be a fast learner that is excited to be on the legal cutting edge;
· Enjoy working collaboratively (often remotely) with a growing and multidisciplinary team;
· Be Maryland barred or eligible to waive into the Maryland bar.
