Job Description
We seek a highly skilled and ambitious Frontend Developer to join our dynamic team. The Frontend Developer will be responsible for designing and developing user-friendly, responsive web and web-based mobile applications that meet the high standards expected from our customers. Working out of our Bristol office 3 days a week with the optional 2 days remote.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with designers, product managers, and backend developers to develop and maintain web and web-based mobile applications
- Write clean, reusable, and maintainable code following best practices and industry standards
- Take ownership of pull requests, ensuring high-quality code and timely reviews
- Manage Git branches and ensure code merges are handled efficiently and effectively
- Develop and implement responsive, cross-browser, and cross-platform user interfaces
- Participate in architectural discussions and contribute to product design
- Work closely with backend developers to integrate APIs and other services.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in front-end development, including experience as a front-end developer
- Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Vue (or similar frontend frameworks)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with Agile methodologies (e.g. Scrum, Kanban).
- A solid understanding of how web applications work, including security, session management, and best development practices
Advantageous
- Native mobile development experience (Swift/Objective-c, Java/Kotlin)
- Ionic (Capacitor/Cordova)
- Accessibility knowledge
- Experience with backend technologies such as Node.js, GraphQL, PHP
- An interest in working as a full stack engineer
Full-time,
Pay: £40,000.00-£50,000.00 per year based on experience
