IT Category Manager

The IT Category Manager will be part of a small procurement team, managing a spend of c£100m, working closely with senior stakeholders to maximise value and enhance commercial returns.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implementation of IT and technology category plans.
• Evaluate sourcing and pricing options, considering outsourcing, hybrid, and insourcing models.
• Lead strategic procurement activities, including contract renewals in collaboration with the business.
• Identify and mitigate supplier and contractual risks through ongoing contract management.
• Lead the procurement of IT and technology services, overseeing tenders, negotiations, and contract drafting to ensure value for money.

To be considered for this role:

• Procurement Manager / Category Manager ideally from financial services.
• Deep IT / technology category experience with experience working with Tier 1 suppliers and a good knowledge of software licences.
