Project Details - Size, Scale, Scope?
- Catalyst and other legacy systems they are working to modernize
- Built in 1985 time-frame in SCADA and other APIs
- Modernizing to stand-alone application in latest and greatest - React and .NET 6 w/ some Azure cloud
- Two focuses: Single page application (SPA) in React and then .NET application (using Signal R) on the web/server-side
- Building out a POD (product oriented delivery) team for this effort - right now one dev but want to expand and get more work done
- Want full-stack engineers as much as possible as team may jump between portions of the project - initially will likely be 50/50 between UI (react) and .NET and DevOps work but long-term UI focus will phase out to more secondary
- All need exposure in all areas but between the POD need strong in each at least if not all strong in all areas
- Will be doing basic security features (OAuth, authentication, serialization) but nothing advanced
- ,NET 5+ (using .NET 6)
- Need .NET and to understand C# fundamentals - algorithms, modular software, connections, quick response, etc.)
- Using SignalR so that'd be a plus
- React
- Exposure to DevOps/Cloud
