Kestrel HR are delighted to be working with Allegra Care to help find a new care home chef for their beautiful, purpose built care home. They provide a household model of care, and mealtimes are always a highlight of the day.

We are looking to welcome an energetic chef, with big ideas and an understanding of special dietary needs.

You'll be able to design menus, working with residents and managers to design and tailor food that provides an excellent nutritional balance, while providing a hospitality experience you can be proud of.

Allegra are a growing company, and are committed to supporting you to builda career in this growing, exciting sector.

We'll pay up to £13.40 an hour for a 40-hour working week, which can be worked across a four-day schedule of 7:00am - 5:00pm.

Your exact schedule can be discussed at interview, and while the home is a seven day business, the hours are much more flexible and family friendly than regular hospitality.

Social Care is an exciting and growing sector, so if you have experience in cooking delicious, nutritious food from scratch, using high quality local and seasonal ingredients, this opportunity may be perfect for you.

Perhaps you've worked in care before, but if not, you'll have experience in similar environments, so that could be education or workplace/contract catering, and you're able to cook meals for up to 60 people at a time with consistency, quality and presentation.
