Neurosurgeon Opportunity-Worcester, MA
UMass Memorial Medical Group seeks a board eligible/board certified Neurosurgeon to join our Community Medical Group with an opportunity for a faculty appointment in the Department of Neurosurgery.
About our Department:
The practice has the feel of a private practice, with a long tradition of excellence in research, teaching, and well-developed academic infrastructure to support these endeavors.
The Community Medical Group - Neurosurgery & Spine provides compassionate, high-quality and personalized care to the people of Central Massachusetts with disorders of the brain and spine. This is a well-established practice including two spine surgeons and a physician assistant and offers patients innovative and sophisticated neurosurgical techniques with the highest level of expertise and experience.
Neurosurgeon Requirements:
- Spine, brain, trauma, and peripheral nerve cases
- Adult only patient population
- Call is 1:8
- Large referral system
- Well established ENT / endoscopic support
- State-of-the-art equipment: BrainLab, Stealth Navigation Systems, Globus Spine Robot
- Residency teaching
- EPIC EMR
Candidates must be board certified or board eligible in Neurological Surgery and eligible for a full Massachusetts State Medical License. Fellowship training is preferred.
