Overview

We are looking to recruit an experienced Corporate Account Handler to join our established and growing Charity & Healthcare Division based out of our Birmingham office.

Our team is a fast-paced, collaborative group of dynamic professionals who are all driven to succeed. If you share this attitude, we look forward to hearing from you.

You will be responsible for providing effective account servicing support and broking to market.

You will work with experienced Account Executives & Directors and together provide outstanding service to our wide range of the larger clients within the Charity & Not-for Profit and Care Sectors..


How you'll make an impact

  • You will take ownership of and look after a portfolio of cross-class clients within the Charities division.
  • Creating documents and reports for our clients , along with collating any mid-term adjustments and renewals information.
  • Working with our offshore team to ensure all client details are recorded accurately and entered on to the system in a timely fashion to ensure data integrity.
  • Obtain renewal terms for customers, ensuring you've explored other options and undertaking comparisons of cover before providing the best available solution.
  • Prepare renewal closings from meeting minutes and ensure cover is bound by renewal date.
  • Liaise with clients and insurers, negotiating premiums and terms. Confirm cover with relevant insurers, process policies and chase up outstanding documentation when required.
  • Deal with account queries and credit control matters highlighting any concerns.
  • Apply fundamental legal and regulatory policy in relation to internal policies and the insurance contract as required.
  • Keep accurate records and process in accordance with our agreed procedures, to ensure renewals are delivered in a timely manner to ensure positive outcomes for our clients.

About You

  • Good understanding of insurance principles and the coverage, terms and conditions of commercial insurance is essential.
  • Experience dealing with the Charity & Healthcare sector is ideal.
  • Education to GCSE standard as minimum whilst holding or working towards one of the Chartered Insurance Institute Qualifications: Cert CII/Dip CII is desirable.
  • Worked to targets within a regulated, measurable framework and achieved SLA’s.
  • Evidence of rapport-building and experience in providing solid customer service focus with outstanding written and verbal communication and social skills.
  • Due diligence and process driven to deadlines, happy to forward plan, organise and analyse information.
  • Highly accurate with a strong attention to detail, using initiative when assisting team members.
  • Fully proficient in MS Office, and Acturis.
  • Eligible to work in the UK.
