Electrical Trainer

OVERVIEW: ELECTRICAL INSTRUCTOR

We are currently seeking an electrical professional to deliver and coordinate the successful completion of qualifications, for a well-established training provider.

The Electrical Instructor role will require you to be involved in delivering short courses and electrical qualifications. You will be a time served Electrician with commercial and domestic installation experience and hold an electrical qualification at level 3 or above along with 18th Edition and 2391.

Ideally you will have experience delivering training in a previous role, and hold a teaching qualification and your assessor award. If you do not hold these qualifications, but have a genuine desire to pass on your knowledge and skills to others... training will be provided!

THE ROLE OF ELECTRICAL INSTRUCTOR

To deliver and coordinate the successful completion of all aspects of qualifications delivered at a high-tech training facility. Training learners in the centre towards agreed qualifications in line with relevant awarding body standards.

We are looking for applicants that are self-motivated, a team player and have a 'hands on approach' to work within this rewarding environment.

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE: ELECTRICAL INSTRUCTOR

• Minimum 5 years' relevant occupational experience within electrical installation
• Good communication and presentation skills
• Experience of working with young people

QUALIFICATIONS & COMPETENCIES: ELECTRICAL INSTRUCTOR

• Level 3 (or above) electrical occupational qualification
• 18th Edition
• 2391
• Assessor Qualification- A1, TAQA, CAVA or equivalent (desirable)
• Teaching qualification (desirable)
• This position is subject to Enhanced DBS clearance
