Job Description
Role: Credit Controller
Location: Rotherham
Salary: £26,000 - £29,000 - Plus quarterly bonus
Working Hours - Monday to Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm (one hour lunch)
An excellent opportunity has arisen with our thriving client based in Rotherham, who are looking for an experienced Credit Controller to join their Finance team.
In this key role you will liaise with debtors in order to meet targets for cash collection, reduce debtor days and give general support to the Accounts Manager.
Key Duties and Responsibilities will include:
Chasing payments of outstanding debts via telephone and e-mail
Negotiating with debtors to achieve the quickest and best level of recovery
Processing and generating reminder letters and monthly statements
Investigating and resolving queries relating to non-payment of invoices
Working to and meeting monthly collections targets
Issuing goods returns and sales credits where necessary
Setting up of new credit accounts
