Area Sales Manager / Sales Engineer
I am recruiting for a full time Area Sales Manager operating in the Leicestershire area. The primary functions include increasing the customer base and developing strong business relationships, within the target geographical region; to increase number of enquiries received into the business, the order conversion rate and profitability in-line with the companies objectives and long term aspirations for continued growth in all markets served.
Product knowledge and sales experience of the following is essential.
Pumps / Motors / Gears and Power Transmissions / Bearings
Responsibilities:
Ensuring that all potential customers are made aware of the full range of products and services provided by the business and to maximise the resulting order potential presented. Whether it be a pump, electric or geared motor, fan, bearing or power transmission.
Able to develop, manage and maintain strong business relationships with all customers ensuring continued long term growth for the business.
While understanding the market size and drivers, report changing market conditions and identify potential opportunities and risks to the management team.
To provide routine sales reports and forecasts, so as to demonstrate the potential opportunities, forecast expectations and achievements in reaching and/or exceeding business objectives.
To secure and direct enquiries, for our products and services, to the most appropriate department(s) within the organisation and facilitate a speedy response, as appropriate, to maintain our high levels of customer service at all times.
Key Attributes:
Being highly self-motivated with a strong desire to succeed and exceed objectives. Hitting sales targets.
The successful candidate must have previous experience in selling products within the MRO product market - more specifically Pumps / Motors / Gears and Power Transmissions / Bearings.
Be able to use own initiative to achieve objectives. Thinking out side of the box to succeed.
Will be commercially aware with the ability to overcome objections, negotiate successfully; secure orders and contracts to achieve the desired revenues at the required profitability.
Able to communicate professionally with the ability to develop and maintain strong long term business relationships at all levels.
Possessing a well organised and proactive approach to business.
Having a strong team ethos and a positive mental attitude and the ability to motivate for best results.
Must hold a Full UK Driving Licence
