Civils Site Manager (Excavation Experience Essential)
Location: Bristol, UK
Salary: Competitive, DOE + Benefits
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Civils biased Site Manager sought, Bristol. Build Maintain Recruit are actively seeking a civils biased site manager, ideally with excavation / underground services experience. This is a permanent position site based at a prestigious manufacturing facility in north Bristol.
Are you an experienced Civils Site Manager with a passion for managing complex excavation projects? We have an exciting opportunity for you to join a leading construction company in Bristol. We are supporting a team embedded within a prestigious facility overseeing a number of schemes on site.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee day-to-day site operations for civils and excavation projects.
Ensure work is carried out safely, on time, and within budget.
Coordinate with subcontractors, engineers, and other stakeholders.
Implement health & safety regulations, maintaining a safe working environment.
Conduct site inspections and report progress to senior management.
Manage workforce planning and materials to meet project timelines.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Civils Site Manager, with a strong background in excavation.
Familiarity with groundworks, drainage, and heavy civils.
Ideally, you will have CAT Training or HSG 47
Solid understanding of health & safety standards and construction legislation.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) or equivalent certification.
First Aid and CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme) card preferred.
Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and deliver projects on schedule.
