Job Description
This business are a leading provider of power solutions for industrial applications. As a global business they have over a 1000 employees.
As a result of continued growth they are looking for a Risk Manager to help them identify and assess project risk and opportunity management with regard to profitability, safety and security. This role will lead the identification, assessment, response and management of project risk and opportunity, across the portfolio of projects.
To group and identify common risks and opportunities across projects and escalate for management at the appropriate level.
Requirements
* Project Management Expertise: Possess a robust understanding of project management principles, methodologies, and practices.
* Quantitative Analysis Proficiency: Exhibit proficiency in quantitative techniques associated with risk management, such as Monte Carlo analysis, statistical modelling, and data-driven decision-making.
* Organisational skills: Demonstrate strong organisational skills to effectively manage multiple Project Risk and Opportunity Management activities, stakeholders, and priorities simultaneously. Prioritise tasks and maintain a structured approach to risk management.
* Facilitation and Communication skills: Excel in facilitating collaborative workshops, discussions, and decision-making processes involving diverse stakeholders with varying levels of expertise and perspectives. Communicate complex risk concepts and analysis results clearly and concisely to different audiences.
Role
* Comprehensive Management of project risk and opportunity Management. Oversee the project risk and opportunity management Process from initiation to closure across the portfolio of projects.
* Development of project risk and opportunity management plan. As part of the Initiation phase, develop the risk and opportunity management plan in collaboration with the Project Manager and stakeholders, and in accordance with the contractual requirements of the Project.
* Group Project Risks and Opportunities and identify common risks and opportunities across projects, to escalate for management at the programme or portfolio level.
* Reporting of risks and opportunities: Support in the reporting of Risks and Opportunities, at all levels of Risk hierarchy (Project, Programme, Portfolio).
