Teaching Assistant SEND - full time Temporary
Chesterfield
£19,000 - £23,000 per annum (salary is depending on experience and/or qualifications)
Jan 2025 – Sept 2025
The School and Role
An excellent primary school located in a highly accessible area. This schools values and ethos underpin the high levels of teaching and learning across the school, providing a clear positive environment which prepares children to be confident, resilient, and happy. The desired Level 3 Teaching Assistants will be working on a 1-1 basis with a child in a Year 4 class, Key Stage Two (KS2). Strong behaviour management would be advantageous. You should have a good understanding of children with additional needs including Autism and ADHD. The post holder would need to be enthusiastic, encouraging, and adaptable in their approach to the curriculum, teaching and learning. There could be a permanent contract for the right candidate.
Requirements
The desired Teaching Assistant will have;
- Experience of working with primary school aged children
- Experience of working with pupils with SEND
- A passion for the progress of primary school pupils
- An ability to work as part of a team
