Job Description
Science Solutions are looking to recruit a Manufacturing Engineer for one of our clients based in the Dorset area.
To be considered for the position of Manufacturing Engineer you must have strong working knowledge of 2D & 3D CAD in addition to lean manufacturing techniques.
Role requirements
Previous experience and working knowledge of 2D and 3D CAD.
Strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing techniques is essential for the role.
Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and procedures.
Degree or HNC/HND educated in Mechanical Engineering with an emphasis on Mechanical Design is highly desirable.
Role responsibilities
Actively manage configuration control on projects you’re working on.
Implement Lean Manufacturing techniques into current and new processes.
Analyse customer drawings to produce templates and kits
