Job Shop Machine Operator (1st Shift)

First shift hours are 6am-2pm Monday-Friday at this time and will move to 4am-2pm Monday-Thursday effective December 30th 2024

Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate CNC machines to perform machining operations according to specifications
- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and job orders to determine dimensions and tolerances
- Use precision measuring instruments such as micrometers and calipers to ensure accuracy of parts
- Monitor machine operations to detect any issues or malfunctions
- Inspect finished products for defects and ensure they meet quality standards
- Package, assemble, or weld parts as required
- Maintain a clean and organized work area

- Previous experience operating CNC machines in a manufacturing environment preferred, not required. NE-XT provides on-the-job training for all new hires.
- Knowledge of machining processes and techniques preferred
- Ability to use precision measuring instruments such as micrometers and calipers
- Experience working in a warehouse or manufacturing setting is preferred
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with minimal supervision
